Mandy:

Home: Kitsilano, Vancouver BC.

Q: How long have you been into fishing?

A: "Well, I grew up in Ontario and we had a cottage up north, we'd go just about every weekend as far back as I can remember, being daddy's little girl I just kinda got into it.

Q: What's the biggest fish you ever caught?

A: My biggest fish ever was a king salmon that weighed 38lbs, I was on a charter boat with a few friends, I think it took me about 30 minutes to bring him to the boat, That was here in BC a couple of years ago.

Q: So can you really tie all those knots in your book?

A: Jez no, some I never even heard of before, I have 3 or 4 knots that cover me for most stuff, the hardest to get down was the sliding bait loop if you haven't done it for awhile it's like you totally forget.

Jennifer:

Home: North shore, Vancouver BC

Q: So did you know Mandy before the book?

A: Oh-yah, we meet a few years ago at a party, soon as I found out she was into fishing we became like best friends.

Q: When did you get into fishing?

A: I guess I was about 9 when I caught my first fish, that was here in BC I've been hooked ever since.

Q: What kind of fish was it?

A: It was this beautiful Rainbow Trout, my uncle said it was pretty big for that lake, it was about as long as my forearm.

Q: Your forearm now or then?

A: LOL now of course, and I don't lie about the size of what I catch.

Q: Can you tie all the knots in the book?

A: Actually I tied most of them. To get the job I thought we would have to - LOL.
